Chris Eyre is a retired attorney who lives in Yorkshire. He did his degree in Physics (Theoretical Option), and then retrained as a lawyer. He also participated in local politics for 30 years as a councillor and was involved in a variety of local charities, and also as Mayor of his town. He was brought up Methodist but became an atheist at a very early age, and then had a peak mystical experience at 14, which prompted him to look at a wide range of spiritual traditions before accepting that he was at least culturally Christian and had a strong adherence to the person of Jesus. He is married with two grown up children and two dogs, and has a range of other interests far too long to mention!
