John B. Cobb Jr. (born 9 February 1925) is a theologian, philosopher, and environmentalist. Cobb is regarded as the preeminent scholar in the field of process theology. He is the author of more than fifty books and is a member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.
He is co-founder and current co-director of the Center for Process Studies in Claremont, California.
