Pema (Lisa) Antoniotti is first and foremost a student of presence. Each piece of her corporate, human services and ordained career have led to a deeper understanding of how to be present to the needs of patients, staff, and organizations. Pema began her journey with over 20 years’ experience working in various aspects of state government, nonprofit and corporate America. She most recently served as the Vice President of Operations and Consulting Services for a global management consulting firm, where she focused on process management, design, and improvement.
Pema is a Certified Yoga Therapist and former Director of Program Development for Scott Anderson’s Alignment Yoga. She has also studied with Nischala Joy Devi, Director of Stress Management for Dean Ornish’s Lifestyle Heart Trial. Pema was ordained in the Buddhist tradition in 2002 and began teaching in 2004. In 2008 she co-founded Joyful Path Meditation and Healing Center. Pema recently completed a Master of Education (Human Services), where she focused on the benefits of training counselors and clinicians in cultivating therapeutic presence. She holds Substance Abuse and Professional Counselor training licenses in the State of Wisconsin, and is currently working toward a Doctor of Ministry degree in Contemplation, Renewal and Strategic Leadership at Claremont School of Theology. She was ordained in 2022 by Domo Geshe Rinpoche.
